Eevee. the Evolution Pokémon
“Within an Eevee is the key to understanding Pokémon evolution. There is no other Pokémon known in the world that can evolve up to eight separate ways, into eight separate Pokémon, and it is rumored there are still evolutions to Eevee we have yet to discover. This quantity and variety only exists in Eevee because of its unique genetic code, which allows the Evolution Pokémon to gradually adapt to its surroundings and the environments it finds itself in before it even undergoes evolution. It can live nearly anywhere in nature, under any non-volatile conditions, though it is believed it can adapt to those too. Even its own face will gradually change itself to match its trainer’s, adapting to their care and attitude.”
“We do not fully understand how Eevee can exist as it does with such an unstable genetic code that should make it impossible for any life form to maintain their own sense of self, but we do know that when we do understand it, there will be no Pokémon on our planet we could not evolve. Thanks to the species, we already understand evolution through a trainer’s bond; exposure to sunlight and moon light; absorption of the natural elements; absorption of radioactive elements; and if we could achieve evolution in an Eevee through trade, normal strength gain, exposure to other items or even a difference of gender evolutions, we could determine how and why evolution works worldwide and how to offer it to Pokémon species who otherwise don’t evolve these ways.”
