Vengeful Spirits

One might think
With bodies dropping, stars falling out of the skies
The world would go quiet
Nights would be silent
Only the epicenter left in control of what remains

No
Fallen stars never stop burning
They may burst, but their light shines on
Newborns will carry on their torch
Shining on worlds and life all around
They will not go silent
Another Big Bang will never come to stop them
The universe will live on
Galaxies will spin
And all will go on

No god-players will end it short
No dark-matter matters more
Than life

Gastly, the Gas Pokémon

hand-drawn artwork

Said to be born from grieving souls lingering in graveyards that gather and possess the foggy air around them into a body, Gastly are actually more gaseous than they are a spirit. The gas of their bodies is the only thing that gives them form, and as far as we know makes up most of their body’s mass. This does make the Gastly’s natural enemy a strong breeze, as high-speed winds can blow their bodies apart and, if they do not find shelter fast enough, will lose their form and die again. Groups of these Pokémon can be found more easily during these storms, hiding out in the same, sturdy buildings.
Otherwise, the gas that makes their body is also their strongest weapon. Because their bodies have no solid form, they can spread their bodies to encompass a wider area without feeling torn apart, enveloping their opponents and exposing them to a poisonous substance within their gas. This poison is so powerful that even Copperajah, a Steel-type normally immune to Poison-type attacks, can be subdued within just a few seconds. If Gastly so wish, they can control the dosage of this exposure to seep through the skin of their prey to kill them before feeding.
