Machop, the Superpower Pokémon
“Machop are a species prideful of their bodies and their strength. Day in and day out, this Pokémon trains rigorously to master every form of martial arts it can learn. Their small stature can often mislead their opponents into believing they are weak, but this Fighting-type Pokémon can put most species to shame. They use wild Graveler as a weight lifting challenge, and eventually they will have the strength to hurl one hundred adult humans before their body begins to tire. Because of the unique fibers that make up the specie’s muscles, Machop never grow sore nor cramp from all their training and exercising; they are capable of the same level of strength only hindered by exhaustion, and are never truly in a vulnerable state when they aren’t sleeping.”
“Machop can be spotted almost anywhere in the world, because this Pokémon spends its wild life traveling the globe in search of teachers. To achieve their dream of mastering all known forms of martial arts, Machop journey from region to region seeking out the greatest teachers of their arts, becoming students the moment they arrive until they feel they have mastered the forms and then they move on to the next. Many times have people spotted this Pokémon aboard boats and planes alongside strangers, as people agree to pay for their ride fee to their next location and then part ways as they return to land. The Unova and Hoenn Leagues have made efforts in recent years to add various new laws worldwide that offer free services to harmless passerby Pokémon across the regions, the travel fees of Machop and similar Pokémon being wavered by businesses being one law pushed by the Elite Four and Gym Leader of the Fighting type of the respective regions most heavily.”
