Staryu, the Star Shape Pokémon

Their core, a red organ resembling a gemstone and functioning as the Pokémon’s eye and mouth simultaneously, glows red in the dark of night, flickering between dim and bright like the stars in the sky. Old fairytales told os Staryu born from the dust from falling stars, and that grew into the rumors of today that the flickering of their lights are actually a morse-code-like message signaling back to whatever lives out among the stars. There is no greater basis for this belief that has made cults pop up around the world spreading the word, but the real reason Staryu seem to talk with the stars remains a fascinating mystery.”
