Vulpix, the Fox Pokémon
“As a wild Pokémon, Vulpix were once a very intimidating species. Now, the Fox Pokémon has become incredibly popular among people and Pokémon Trainers. The pelt of a Vulpix is one of the most beautiful in the world, but not to be used in fashion but often as a marketing scheme for Pokémon grooming. The fur of the Vulpix species is highly demanding, constantly needing care to remain luscious and smooth and keep it untangled, so many grooming brands seek to use a Vulpix as their mascot and forefront of marketing, as a sign of their business’s dedication and hard work to maintain a Pokémon’s beauty.”
“The Vulpix found in Alola traded their fire for ice. Once known as the Keokeo to the native people of Alola, these Vulpix had fled the same volcanic eruption the Sandshrew did, and were exported to Ula’Ula Island. There, their bodies evolved over time to handle the cooler temperatures and eventually harness the Ice type. Their breath now falls below negative fifty-eight degrees; their tails can shoot Ice Shard with a swing; and at a microscopic scale, tiny snowflakes grow on the hairs of their fur that keep their body temperature low. They are quite popular to own in Alola to combat higher temperatures, using the cold air they emit in confined spaces to cool down houses and businesses during bad heat waves through the region.”
